Grace Groups meet together regularly for spiritual formation. Spiritual formation is the process of being shaped according to the image of Christ by the gracious working of the Holy Spirit, for the sake of the world (Companions in Christ Training). At Peace Wilco, we are aware that “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience." (French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, 1881-1955).

Our Sunday morning Grace Group is the Book Club which is held at 9:30 a.m. in the foyer of the Activity Center. About every quarter we will choose a new book to read and discuss. You do not have to read the selected book to join in on the conversation. Please join us over light breakfast snacks as we discuss things like climate change and creation care while reading our current selection of Pope Francis’ Laudato Si: On Care for Our Common Home.

We also have four Interfaith Conversations which are held during the fall and spring from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at ArtSpace.

There are two women’s group opportunities. We have a Wine Night every first Friday from 8-10 pm in various homes and locations. There is also a group called Rise, hosted by Spiritual Formation Pastor, Aurelia. This group meets every Monday night at Redhorn Coffeehouse and Brewery at 8 pm and discusses social and political issues and how they intersect with faith/spirituality.

Guys Night meets on the first Thursday of every month at Hopdoddy’s Burger Bar for their Burger Happy Hour starting at 5:30 p.m.

If you are interested in any of our Grace Groups or have questions about the children or youth Grace Groups, email Aurelia.
