To signify the penitential, anticipatory season of Lent, we will be singing the Taize Chant “Wait for the Lord” at the start of each service during the Lenten season. May this chant be a prayer of hope as we anticipate the celebration of Easter and the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Wait for the Lord

Wait for the Lord, whose day is near.

Wait for the Lord: keep watch, take heart!

This week we will also learn a new Taize chant that will help us embrace the spirit of Lent. We wait for the Lord as we anticipate the hope of Easter. Meanwhile, we realize he is just as present a midst the darkness.

When the Night Becomes Dark

When the Night Becomes Dark

Your love, O Lord, is a fire

Your love, O Lord, is a fire
