We're so excited to be serving dinner to unhoused neighbors with the folks from Helping Hands of Georgetown! Helping Hands partners with local groups, organizations, and people to serve hot meals every Sunday, and we're joining them for our Serve Sunday (every fifth Sunday) on August 30th). You can come solo, with one or two others, and even bring kids! Everyone is welcome to help serve, and interact with the neighbors, but please make sure that you have a supervision plan for your younger kiddos if they're coming. We'll be providing a meal for 30-60 people (think pizza, pasta, something that can feed a large group! You can contribute financially, or practically), need to provide drinks, and to-go style plates for the neighbors! In your registration, you'll be able to indicate how you're planning to participate. Join us for a Fall Retreat at the Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat center in Belton! We'll spend time in silence, participating in spiritual practices at the retreat center, engaging in discussion, and sharing a meal! All food will be provided, and childcare is available. This is event is open to everyone but we don't want finances to be a barrier to participation, so there are three tiers for payment: $15 (I Need Help to Attend) $25 (Suggested Donation) $35+ (I Can Help Out) If finances are still a factor in whether or not you can participate, please let us know - we want everyone who wants to come to be able to! Payment details will be in your confirmation e-mail.

At this Album Listening Party, we'll spend a short time learning a bit about John Prine, and his music. After a listen-through of the album, we'll discuss what sticks out to us, how we think it can influence our own spiritual journey, and where we see glimpses of the Divine.
