Our Story
At Peace, we recognize we are not a neighborhood church. Rather, folks participate from all across Williamson County and the Austin metro. Because of this, we create consistent and meaningful pockets of community as entry points for belonging and deeper connection.
On any given year, you’ll see us trying different things based on the needs of the community. Some things are sacred traditions that have stood the test of time, while others are experiments. We love to be creative, follow the energy of our people, and see what sticks!
We also love to be intergenerational in our gatherings as much as possible. In 2024, we hosted our first Ash Wednesday service since before the pandemic, continued our annual Good Friday collaboration with area churches, hosted an all-church hike, an all-church brunch, and a meet-up at Schlitterbahn!
We brought back Firepit Theology, held our annual lantern walk, moved our annual trunk or treat to Sunday morning, had an Advent wreath making party, and held our annual Christmas Eve service. All of this stood alongside our Sunday gatherings, watch parties, and service days.
While our kid-focused and small group meet-ups are great, we love being in community all together!
